It's almost invisible from any distance but it was still worth the effort

Well I said I'd be back to this, so here is the last little dash of insanity.

The figure is modded a bit to sit more upright

You can see the servo wire in the first pics. This one's connected to the ESC channel so when the truck goes forward, Willy looks back at his disappearing freedom!

This is just about done now. I need to play with spring rates to try to get it a bit more stable, all the body mods have added quite a bit of weight so it's very top-heavy. There's always something, isn't there...?

What kind of servo are you using for the Willy figure, any photos of the rear of the driver showing the servo install?

The servos were cheap Hextronic jobs, a couple of quid on ebay. I thought I had a photo of the install somewhere but if I did I can't find it, sorry. From memory, the mounting tabs had to be cut off the servo and the hole in Willy's neck enlarged. The servo is just hot-glued in place.
