OCD 514 Posted November 16, 2012 Does anyone on TC still sell these? Found this on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tamiya-Sand-Scorcher-Buggy-Champ-Natural-Anodised-Chassis-SRB-/321018056916?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item4abe2ad0d4 Seems like a decent bargain, but would like to patronize a TC member if possible -Steve

OCD 514 Posted November 16, 2012 I just know people Okay, well maybe you can let him know I'd like to buy one of those from him.. Just tried the website and the checkout is rejecting my remote island country as a shipping address.

HunterZero 76 Posted November 19, 2012 There's also rad22rad's Awesome Alloys chassis. Always thought this one looked really cool. http://www.tamiyaclu...ber.asp?id=1892 http://www.awesome-a...om/page850.html - James
OCD 514 Posted November 19, 2012 I have had one of those through my hands before and would buy another if he still made them: http://www.awesome-alloys.com/page5.html Fortunately I did manage to hang on to a couple sets of his wheels, which are still some of the nicest 3-piece rims around IMO. Still haven't heard back from Radshape yet either...
TWINSET 1793 Posted November 19, 2012 Give 'em a chance - we had a thing here, for the last couple of days, called the weekend I'm guessing the 'contact us' on the website goes to a commercial email address Why don't you just buy it on eBay?
Percymon 2184 Posted November 19, 2012 There's also the pargu2000 plates via eBay or his store.. http://www.pargustore.com/alloy-parts/tamiya/sand-scorcher.html I have his top and bottom black anodized versions for the SuperChamp - quality bits of kit but pretty heavy for a runner. Then again there's no chance of chassis flex !!

Ha, just one continual work week for me. Weekends are for pansies I messaged him through eBay offering to buy where ever is preferred, but will just hit the BIN if I don't hear back soon. It's easier although I'd figured he might want the chance to avoid the fees. I'll have to pass on the Paragu items. Not sure if he's even a legit member here, and TBH, I had a bad experience with my one and only purchase from them.
