If you were going to sell all of your cars...

...and had the opportunity to keep one (just ONE!), which one you'd keep?

Any particular reasons for choosing *that* one?

I know which one I would keep, but I'd like to know which ones you guys would keep if in such situation.

If this includes all types and sizes, I'd have to say my HPI Baja 5b. If this is limited to smaller cars I'd say my Kyosho Sandmaster.

Captured my imagination the most as a kid (probably because it seemed so unobtainable) and catches the eye first every time I look at the shelves. The Egress is simply a joy to look at both moving and at rest !

Because it was my first Tamiya and because it was bought for me for Christmas when I was 11 back in 88 by my Mother who is no longer with us so it holds a LOT of sentimental value for me.

My current collection is

DT-02 Sand Rover- ezrun 9t lipo

M04XL- 19t brushed. Maisto beetle body with lights.

Blitzer beetle- castle creations sidewinder 4600kv, lipo

WR-02 VW wheelie samba, silver can, lipo or Ni-mh. 2.4ghz radio.

Out of these I would keep the WR-02 as it is the newest, not been used much and it pulls wheelies with the standard silver can. And my gf painted my willy.

Having thought this through already I'd make one change, that would be with whomever or whatever was deciding on only one. Since the decision wouldn't be mine, the outside influence would need a change of mind or address. If it were that critical of a choice, I'd pick none since without spare parts it's not much use and one shelfer would eventually get driven.

I like the looks of the mud boggers, the baja buggies, and off-road pick-ups, but... nothing does it like a monster truck.

I would be torn between my Avante and Monster Beetle, both are amazing to look at. But it would probably be the Monster Beetle because it was a hard and costly restore, the Avante is brand new but was built when I got it. Besides, the Monster Beetle is more fun to drive in my opinion

I have a lot of vintage RCs now and all of them I really like, but I would need to keep the Old Tamiya Falcon with lots of spares! It is the first RC that I got at Christmas when I was 10-11 years old.

Ok. if you can keep the spares then it's the 956 and 3 spare chassis and the majority of the Jags and F103 and all the bodies that could possibly fit.

If I had to keep just one I'd sell the lot including the avante, egress and nib bruiser. There's just no one car in my 35 that does it all. The gmade R1 is possibly the most versatile but even that couldn't do all I'd want.

It would be down to my Monster Beetle, Lunch Box or Clod Buster but in the end it would likely be the Lunchie. It was my first Tamiya, looks cool, is tough as nails and goes lots of places thanks to its monster tires. Best of all, its FUN.

Tough question, but I think I would keep my Toyota GT-One, despite it being far less usable where I am than my Buggy Champ. The former was my first car and I think it would be neat if I had it around long enough to be able to show it to my kids or nephews and nieces and tell them that it was my first RC car.

I am also infatuated with the real-life car, so maybe it is not as hard a decision to make... though I would miss bashing in the mud, sand, snow and/or rain...

As from the original thread, I am keeping my promise to keep my first-ever car, the GT-One. It did take more thought this time, however, seeing as my collection has doubled since then.

A more-cynical reason is that it is the one that seems to be worth the least in my collection!

lol No easy decision that, would take me day's to decide but short list would be, Egress, The Fox, Supershot and the Boomerang as this was my first ever Tamiya buggy.......awwwhhh !!!.....lol
