Haven't really seen a thread about these wonderful old cars. A bit of a departure with the "laydown" suspension. I really love my old CAT. If you have one, please post up some pictures in this thread.

where do these fasteners for the batteries come from?

They came stock with the kit. They are a real good design for back in the day. Beats batt tape.

The only Cat that i raced was the 3000 when I was racing in the UK.

Curious did this come from Australia?

Bought brand new from my track in Colorado. I had preordered it. The day it arrived, I had to have my roommate pick it up as I'd just had my wisdom teeth pulled. I started the build two days later. As you can see, I never finished this one. I received a second from my then girlfriend so I hid this one and built the one she gave me.
