boxed acoms ap-227 mk2 radio, worth anything?

Ive had this set lying around for sometime, ive kept it bagged to keep it tidy. is it worth anything or should i hold onto it.

not really as far as I know, and doubt they ever will be worth anything. Most people like the newer tech stuff even in their old models. Flog it and free up some space!

It's worth some $ for someone who wants a period correct radio for their vintage buggies/cars/whatever shelfqueen. If it's new it would be great for a new build. Put it on ebay and see for how much it goes.

Some people do collect the radios , If it's nib or there about's ...

The best thing is you still have the box & everything in it ...

Would say that is rear on it's own in most cases ...
