Frog variant?

My wife found these in the shed.

They look very similar to Frogs, but don't seem to be as fast.

Chassis is remakably similar, but rear end has less articulation.

A true frog came with a diff. The only way to know if this is frog is to grab one leg and twist hard. If the other leg spins the other way then its a frog. If they both go the same way it's a brat.[:I]

As identified this is actually a frog replica - slower, poor handling and bad quality body. It is actually a TOAD. []

Btw, what does TOAD mean? Actually I bought once on Ebay a mint complete Frog chassis with RC for only $50 as it was listed as Toad buggy, so it was my lucky keyword! [8D][]
