The "nostalgia" market is a real money spinning addition to Tamiya's portfolio and there is no way that they are going to just stop producing them out of sentimentality. This is going to go on and on. And on!

well i hope the keep on keepin' on! would be happy for them to re-re everything! as long as they don't take the Holiday Buggy approach. i'd be less than thrilled if they came out with a 58058 re-release on a WR-01 chassis...

And if we're putting out our hopes and dreams for rerelease... I've wanted an Audi Quattro Rally, and a Bigwig. I really hope they come out with another 959/Celica, but with some rear end fixes. Can't believe I had 4 of those as a kid and don't have a single screw left from them at this point

No 58*** releases in April 2013. There were releases every month in 2012 except May.I agree it's gone a little quiet but the rate of releases was higher than ever:

There will be 58*** releases @ Shizouka, there's bound to be at least another two body variants for the TT-02 and no doubt some blue bling to go with it.

I expect news of whatever is forthcoming at Shizuoka to start filtering through to Tamiyablog within the next two to three weeks. The show starts in the middle of May although exact dates have not been announced yet.

You must be single...It is known that the married TC members , their wifes wear the pants in the family. Who is brave enough to make such brave statement. Me think the only way to know for sure is kidnap Mr. Tamiya san and watetboard him until he is willing to tell us. The length we TC will go to to get intell..
