i am not sure that no one want the 959 or the Fox, i am quite sure that the 959 beat the Blazer.3 speeds are very limited sale compared to others ;-)

hmm - well, i guess the question is, is the blazer a drop-on fit for the re-re bruiser chassis? if that's the case then why wouldn't it happen? unless even the word "blazer" is an impenetrable trademark problem.as for the 959 - this may be a dumb question - but have there been any re-re's of on-road pan cars?

Hmm somewhat controversial statement coming up..........

"Watch the Nova Fox outsell every other Re-re that as been released to date!"

Whoops, did I just say that out loud ;)

What do you guys know. Blazer will out sell all tamiya RC and static models combined to date. No more wishful thinking for other models. Is united we succeed and divided we fail. Think 5Bs ...bigger, better, badder, beastier, BLAZER

Some of the Group C cars have been rereleased, such as the Mercedes C11 and Mazda 787B. I'm holding out for a Street Devil re-re. The R91CP was also rereleased. These are all direct drive pan-like cars running foam tires.

What about the toyota toms ? & the other one that goes with toms .

Re-release the BLAZER or nothing else . Please lock this forum so Tamiya can just focus on the blazer. No one wants the 959 or the fox, bear, deer , owl....Blazer or bust.

HAHA , wish full thinking .

The cost of the blazer compaired to the fox , I would say i can get 3 fox's to one Blazer .

So i can not see this happening .

So more people want the Fox & looks like the 959 as well .

I'm sure that the Blazer will come , BUT not yet . Too soon as they need to leave time inbetween

the Bruiser & the Blazer . + the Blazer does have it's own chassis & mr T needs to have some thing to

spring on use out of the blue . hehe ..

A Blazer re-release on the new Bruiser frame would be really cool, as it's a much better looking model than the Bruiser ever was. But it should be a lower-priced model, as the original Blazer was. I couldn't justify $7-800 for a Bruiser, but $4-500 for a Blazer might be an easier sell.

I doubt it'll outsell the hornet/hopper re re but I think it'll be strong.

Think the reaction of the buying force might as well be as what's been happening with the Wild One. Outselling anything on the Grasshopper drivetrain or even the Frog might be a rather hard thing to do for any other Tamiya model. But then again, that's just my opinion.

ok here's my guess. the fox will break all previous records for rapid initial sales as a result of pre-orders and pent-up enthusiast demand. then it will go on to sell not much differently than any of the other highly prized re-re's.

So,should I wait for the new Blazer ?

The Fox is ridiculous without the front sway-bar. Almost comical looking with literally zero roll stiffness in the front. Weirdest box-stock design ever.

Not as ridiculous as you think. Sure, the front end is quite roly-poly loose with the monoshock, but when you add the sway bar it takes grip away and makes the car understeer. More concerning is the Fox's tendency to lose rear grip and snap oversteer at the drop of a hat.I wonder if they sway bar hop-up will be re-released with a softer bar?- James

This is not a problem. You can buy a thinner steel wire and do yourself a softer anti sway bar.

^^ yep, what Max said.

I also noticed when I added bit of camber to my rear wheels, the rear step out became almost non existant.

I have zero time for R/C and the desire to have re re's has died. BUT if the Blazer comes out......hmmm the fire could re-kindle. LOL

I wish tamiya would rere all the vintage models they didn't do!

Vintage F1 cars from the 50's & 60's

More vintage rally cars like a ford escort, a 205 or a vintage mini.

Maybe tamtom's SC/RR ! (how it should of been!)

A ferrari dino or highly detailed aston DB5

I like vintage, I like REre but there are plenty more gaps to be filled in between yesterday and tomorrows new kit.... just a few thoughts & my opinion, for what it's worth....

I've done the M06 VW, and it's a good fit, sensible product... and the motor is in the right place... but new CC sounds interesting. Hope it's a hardbody, but I'd be more excited if they went with the RR Vogue is a nicer looking vehicle.

that has to be a Freelander with a slight change of name to get around any licencing issues maybe ?
