Yes, it's a Pro-Line body and it was mainly intended for the Frog, so it's quite old. I bought two of this body about 1998-1999, and it was still in the catalog at that time. I know it's not on the Pro-Line website anymore, but it shouldn't be too difficult to find it on eBay. Just beware that the body is quite small so it won't fit well on for instance a modern buggy.

According to the LHS where I bought it in 1996 its was a replacement body for the Blitzer Beetle hard top body. It fits that chassis 100%. Ive seen one at another LHS recently. Will see if its still available.

And yes its a proline body, there was another one as well that had a whaletial on it as well.

It's quite possible that Pro-Line "updated" their suggestion for what this body is meant for, but it was first intended for the Frog, and launched not long after its release (1984) which is long before the BB and even before the Monster Beetle.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but surely that Pro-Line body has to be the ugliest beetle ever.
