Blackfoot extreme shock upgrade

Just purchased a Blackfoot extreme and start shocks look poor quality

What do people recommend as upgrade

IMO the best upgrade is to buy the alloy shock mounts ( widely available on ebay ) and to then fit some decent quality 100mm coilover shocks . This makes one heck of a differance and vastly improves the Blackfoot .

These are mostly in USA right? Can't see any in the UK

I believe you can use aftermarket alloy shock towers made for the Wild Dagger/Twin Detonator. Can anyone confirm this?

If confirmed that they will work (I'm 90% sure they will) they are easy to find on "that auction site"....

Yeah thats right wild dag stuff will fit. No problems or 55mm shocks will work on standard mounts for abit more height.

Isn't the blackfoot extreme on the ORV? Monster beetle/ frog etc chassis?

Sorry kinda lost my way on this thread but OP was asking about blackfoot extreme and not the latest blackfoot 3 which is the same as the wild dagger/ twin motor trucks.

My mistake, it seems the blackfoot extreme is the same as the twin motor trucks, it was the King Blackfoot that had the ORV chassis.

I have 2 spare gear boxes and was tempted to build a 6x6 wild dagger but it never got off the ground. Very good trucks though
