It was 67 degrees here in Colorado, very unusual weather for this time of year. I didn't hesitate, took my WO out and made a vid. Wish I had a friend with me so it wouldn't be all static shots, but oh well. I had a great time on this gorgeous day and even added period correct music lol. Hope you guys enjoy and please feel free to subscribe to my YT channel! PS, if you have pics or vids of your WO, feel free to post them here.

Great vid, the jump at 0.28 is perfect! Thanks for the tune I hadn't heard it since it came out all those years ago, top job.

Fantastic. I want one! (but just purchased a Street Rover, so will have to wait). Is this a standard WO with no mods whatsoever, if so I think it runs and handles great. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Omar! That is a FANTASTIC video! Your videos are always top rate. Also, I'm always happy to help you film a video my friend. Just let me know. I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch better.

Steve, I should have called you. I just figured you'd be working on a Wed. Looks like we are going to have some great weather here going into spring. We do need to get together with some of our cars and fave fun and make some videos. I'll text you soon to see about your schedule. Skywhelp, I have been wanting to use that song in a video for ages!! I remember getting the Frankie Liverpool cassette and loving it and the seeing it used in one of the seminal ski videos, Blizzard of Aahhhs as Glenn Plake almost dies doing a "back handspring" over a crevasse.

Great vid, and I love how balanced the WO appears to be off the jumps.

The rear weight bias keeps it from doing endos and just puts the power back to the ground asap!

Cheers,

Skottoman

Skottoman, it is ok suspension wise. TBH, the stock springs are too firm. It's a little bouncy, but it does behave well in the air.

I know some of you have WO's out there. Post your pics of vids of yours here (FAVs welcome as they are the same chassis). :) This is what mine looked like after the run.

Here's my WO, original resto, hasn't been run yet as after a bench test, either the original driveshafts or gears have let go so its just been sitting on the shelf looking pretty, got the parts to fix it, just need to get around to it ;)

Love the black and yellow scheme. What front springs are on it?

The front shocks are actually Losi Mini T rears, quite a good fit, but probably not as efficient as the originals

The reason I asked is that the stock springs have a little too much tension. It borders on bouncy. I might leave them in a vice to get a little less tension. Once I get the FAV built, I'll try the springs on the upgrade shock kit. Same size but looks like different metal, altough it could just be a coating.

Thanks my friend! I had a lot of fun. As I said on YouTube, all the shaky stuff can be attributed to me, not Omar. It was my first time, so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. ;) That Wild One was great to run, and you did a fantastic job on it.

And as I replied on YT, you did a fantastic job. Next time out, we'll use all 3 cameras and get the chase car cam going too. We'll go to a different spot, as I'm getting bored of having made my last 5 videos at this place.

Plus this video for our SoCal meet back in 2006. Fast forward to about half way through to see me original WO running on the beach and taking a little swim (Doh) All stock at that time except for a Black sport motor. Blew my vintage Futaba ESC with that stunt:
