Anyone know if they are selling off their stock ??/

I guess it's too late now?, wont any remaining stock be given to creditors?

Not sure how these things work?, or even if the shops are still open?

In general the administrators will sell off the stock and then use this to pay off the creditors. I'll have to make some enquires as to how they intend to do this .

Too many stores in high rental cost areas led to their demise - unable to pay a forward quarters rent , they went into receivership.

I'd wager on them being bought out , re-launched but maybe with fewer stores and in less prestige premises.

I have one of the original DEX410R and its a great buggy - total pain to fit the electrics in it - but a great buggy! Handles 5.5t brushless no problem at all :)

Amazon will have a deal on a Draper Multi-Tool (Dremel type tool) at 2:14 today
Sign on to Amazon UK, click on Today's Deals and scroll to the right until you see the deal/price
You have to be online at the time to see the 'sale' price, they're currently £27.43

If all the stock goes immediately, hang around for a few minutes, not sure if there's a way of auto-buying these deals, but they tend to sell out within seconds then after a few minutes stock's available again

Just seen the same thing at Robert Dyas for £19.99

Maybe the Amazon one's not such a bargain

Two options at Amazon :wacko:

Draper 28738 @ £22.45 PT140K

Draper 23049 @ £27.43 PT140KA

Just spoke to Draper and main difference is the motor - the KA has a lower low speed of 10,000-35,000RPM as opposed to 15,000-35,0000RPM

Comparison; http://www.drapertools.com/b2c/b2cprdcmp.pgm?pp_skmno1=79340&pp_skmno2=23049&pp_skmno3=

Robert Dyas charge a fiver shipping, so Amazon's 28738/PT140K looks best price so far...

RCMart are having a silly specials day again.

Speed Passion sensored/sensorless Reventon ESC coupled to a programme card and a sensorless 3500kV motor

Free shipping - $50 !!

ESC has several modes including blinky for stock club racing.

In time you might want to swap to a sensored motor but in a lightweight buggy like Hornet/Grasshopper/DT-02 the sensorless one will more than likely be plenty capable.

I have both and they are excellent quality, which is the norm for Aldi tools.

Glad to be of service :D

Dunno if anyone's in the market for a 12v charger, but Goldstar/Time Tunnel have a cracking deal on an Ansmann at the minute;

I got me one :)

It's a clone of a Venom/Turnigy model, I had the Venom one a while back and it was great - does LiPo, LiFe, NiMh etc

Amazon trade in for more than game cost!!

This doesn't work very often, but always worth keeping a look out for;

Amazon's 'Today's Deals' has a PS3 Game (I already bought the XBox version today so it's gone from the list) at £8.99

Their trade in value for an 'as new' version is £13.25

Unfortunately, you can only buy one game per Amazon account, but there's nothing stopping you having several Amazon accounts :lol:

They even pay return postage :D

Just remeber to spend any profit on RC gear
