It's not the bumper itself that's the problem it's the bottom of the chassis hitting rocks or potholes instead of hitting the bumper it will hit the diff. It's the height of the bumper not the length that was the problem for me.

I wonder, has anybody ever actually rallied a Mercedes? I mean like for a team? Not quite the typical choice I imagine...

Check with the rental car agencies, I'm sure they could confirm that it's been done.

Good news I do have a spare bumper your welcome too only thing is I don't appear to have a spare bracket to fix it too. It shouldn't be too hard to make something though if ya want it your welcome to it .

Well I think it's done for now. Still need some big *** driving lights to look completed. Kind of pleased with the modified Traxxas decal, under the drivers window, lol.

Hopefully the weather will get better soon and I can take it out for a run.
