I just put a 9T ezrun in my WR-02 and after 2 runs (not even a full lipo yet) it's far too much :D , I will be swapping it out today for something else, maybe a 19T brushed motor that I have.

I will have to try it...also i think you need to find smaller lipos without the hard case because all my hard case lipos don't fit even the one i purchased that looks the shape of a normal NIMH pack it's a hair to wide and don't fit.

:) Well i dropped in the 15 turn motor and now i am charging the battery but it's raining out side :( so i will just be able to hold it up and give it a full rev of the motor to see just how fast the wheels spin up!

it will be fast-er for sure the ARRMA 15T motor has a super nice power curve after 1/4 throttle.. Had one in a TT01 w/ a 58/24 gear set and it was a blast

Strap it on top and run it with no bodyshell just to give you an idea of the extra power.

I had a Trinity Onyx 14t in mine a few years back... did a complete backflip going reverse-to-forward. :D Lights on the rollbar didn't last long, but the rest of it held up fine.

I just did a test with a charged 6 cell NIMH pack with my RPM checker rear wheels off the ground marked with white sticker so RPM gets read.

TEST 1-wild willy red one new 15 turn arrma motor 1200RPM at the wheel but flickerd back and forth between 1100RPM and 1200RPM

TEST-2 Yellow wild willy duratrax photon speed 2 twenty turn motor also 1200RPM at the wheel consistant

Both are using 18 tooth pinion

I don't know i think maybe that arrma 15 turn is not what it's labeled to be maybe!

try cleaning it and get some com drops... I broke my ARRMA motor in -in water and put slick7 com lube in it after cleaning

The com lube alone should get 50-200rpm's out of it..

Bad idea never use those com drops sure you get more RPMs but it wears off in very fast and it only softens your brushes and atracts dirt to further ****** up your com.... Know this from 30 Years of slot car racing oils on the com or brushes = no good.

old mardave V12 racing trick is to put a drop of wd40 on the com , only lasts a few laps but it can be enough to get you the lead, new mardave V12 racing trick , use brushless systems ;)

A valid point yes it only lasts a short time- I've had no issue's slots or RC though.. in fact it helped make my slots faster than the track pro at my local slot facility - and I am no pro even though I have been racing for 20 years-

Never heard of it softening brushes- never had that happen to me.. I break them before having them melt haha- then again I'm a basher not a hardcore racer

I said to use it to break in the brushes and help true the com.. PLUS it should be used after dunking a motor in water, as well as re-oiling the end bell bushings.. (this is in the case of a non rebuildable motor like the ARRMA 15T and similar )

Na i will pass on the oil to the com trick it absorbs into the brush material... you will see it if used on a motor and you let it sit for a year or so like a slot car then it gums up the com.

do a search on the web you will most likely find stuff about what i am telling you how it's just a quick speed blast but in the end is not good for your motor.

Yes running minus the body shell is great advice when trying a potential rocket motor. I once flipped a Blitzer beetle on the street luckily minus the new body I had just put the decals on! Phew!
