Is this a Optima Chassis?

HI all I picked this Chassis up a while ago and was thinking it was an Optima but I wasn't 100% sure? I know there is a whole lot of experience on this site so I am sure someone knows what it is.

Also I have done a little research and found out that Hot Trick was supposed to be the "Trick" thing back in the day. Haven't seen much lately though.

Yep, it's a first gen (possibly Turbo) Optima with a Hot Trick Red Prince conversion and Option House belt drive. Nice decked out find to keep hold of.

Shame about the front towers. I can't remember if HT had them as part of the conversion, they used them in the awkward stock lay down position.

Yeah Hot Trick Optima chassis set that has had the swiss cheese mod done LOL

Didn't really improve the performance. Belt drive only helped in reliability. RC 10 Shocks.

Never the less a cool piece of r/c history.

Ha Ha you saw the "Swiss Cheese" plate. I am guessing someone thought it would be lighter I guess.
