I used to be in to micro rc and over the tears had all the cars - lrp shark, carisma, losi mini 8 but packed it in due to lack lf time and no clubs that were local.

i'd read about the new buggy from LC racing a few months ago and thought that would be nice to build for old times sake. well toay i was near dms racing and intended to just look at one, how stupid am I. £130 later and I own it:-) It comes with servo and I have mini esc and 4500kv motor that should be ideal.

Probably never get raced (or even used much) but since when did that matter.

Here's a promo vid which sold it to me!

Lol I know what you mean about micro rc. I've always had this attraction to them even there has been some very dodgy designs in particular gearboxes that could handle brushless set ups. The best one so far was the losi mini 8 in my opinion as someone finally realised that all they needed to do was put mini versions of the 1/8 rally cross diffs to make the car brushless proof.

Doubt I'll ever have time to race it but looking forward to building it if only for old times sake. My problem is that whenever I look at how much a non tamiya kit is I think what I could buy from tamiya with the same money!

There is nothing wrong with buying non tamiya stuff...but you just been ban from this site until you rid all non tamiya items. And confess for you have sinned and ask for forgiveness. Hahaha

The first RC I bought wheh I got back into the hobby was a HSP Trojan 1/16 buggy for under $50 new. I have beaten the fool out of it, and have added a lipo/brushless setup from HK, as well putting it on my 2.4 Tx. It's still one of my favorite bashers, and the brushless has been through a few spur gears and finally a rear diff (after almost 2 years). But, $20 in parts over that time (and a few stashed for the future), and we bash on.
