Got a good start on the interior!

went threw 2 dashes, didn't think out the positions of the driver but it works.. Probably open up his hands and put the wheel under his hands, and gotta find or make a instrument cluster yet..

Chrome wheels look good. I'm curious about the interior work you're into. Reminds me of a lexan interior I've seen a couple of years ago, but that one also had a copilot.

Keep the pictures coming.

I decided to scrap the kit included driver (broke is left fingers off while cutting a area for the wheel)

Luckily I have a vintage driver that should substitute just fine.. got my 4 light bar and mounted it up and looks stellar!

Finally got the energy to finsh this thing up! took it for it's first drive (before finishing the body..) and broke a few parts haha - it hauls the mail to say the least.. pretty unstoppable. It however developed a "click" in the gear box which I fear is a semi stripped gear.. these REALLY need a metal geared box.. on with the pics!!!

Been awhile since I posted pics of my RE-RE SS and got a PM from a mermber on how I did the lighting in it.. I painted behind each LED Black to not shine thru the back which the tail lights you can see pretty well and is a tight fit to the rear tires..

It's still not done but is done enough for now..

The light bar is Integy PN C23181

The LED light kit is a cheaper eBay LED light kit from China.. think I paid $12 for it shipped- came with 2 pairs white 5mm LED's 1 Orange 3mm LED, 1 Blue 3mm LED 1 Red 5mm LED- has turn signal/ brake light functions -

Signal wires coming thru the tub-

One current one with the vintage Futaba 75mHz AM radio..

Front lights- head light bukcets are simply drilled out for a 5mm LED-LED's are glued in- front markers were drilled with a a x-acto knife til the 3mm LED fit - it's a Orange one that came with the kit - I painted it orange to appear stock - one other thing I did on the nose is cut about .125" (1/8") off the bottom of it as it binds on the tubes - you can see it cracked the front piece right below the fender-SS22_zps628faa14.jpg

Here you can see where I cut the bumper to fit better-

Rear lights- The kit comes with clear lenses- you must cut the non-clear lenses out - I used a Red LED and painted the inside of the clear lens Red as well

The light bar- Is a Integy chrome piece- used 2 flat mounts (cut the tabs off the front - hand painted the plastic silver to blend in and used the 2 rear mount holes) used a 1/8" drill bit and hex socket head M3x10mm screws/Nyloc nuts to mount the lights- the wiring was routed thru the roof - drilled a 1/4" hole thru the sunroof patch- then used a 1/4" plastic wire loop (mounted to the right side M3 screw) to hold the wiring up- then is twisted tight and double sided taped/ glued to the inner A pillar to hide it(also painted it black to to blend in)

Finally a shot of the finished interior - the seat backs are larger rubber nitro fuel line, the driver is a vintage piece I had, the passenger is the SS kit driver..
