Hi all some advice please. What is the lowest turn brushed motor could I get away with in my re re wild One and Frog. At the moment my frog has a standard mabuchi 27 turn motor and the wild One has a tamiya super stock rz motor fitted. All thoughts and advicewould be appreciated including any possible hop ups.

The Ansmann clash motors are really reasonable and go down to 15 turn. This might be too much for the mechanicals though. I put an 18 turn in a fighter buggy rx 2wd a while back. being 2wd they can just tend to doughnut all the time.. with the 18t it was quick but on the edge.. :-)

I put a Tamiya "lightly tuned" motor in my Frog, and with a 3600mah NiMh battery it is undriveable. It just wants to flip onto its back... I don't remember *any* car doing that back in the day, so clearly things have come a long way. And clearly I need to set some max throttle points on my transmitters to save myself repairs :(
