Old Vintage Chargers

is there any point in trying to sell these? shipping is a beast due to weight. or should i consider pairing them with any older tamiya cars/trucks i decide to sell to try to sweeten the deal?

for me personally that's how i ended up with a bunch of these i don't really even want. i've started telling sellers to leave them out of auction wins to save on the shipping. is the sentiment universal or do some people actually consider an old Ni-Cd timer charger a desired bonus?

i don't want to bother with all the packing and shipping of these things if people don't even care... would rather spend the time doing something more useful.

Opinions please...

I'm same I have loads of chargers and apart from my boxed Acoms 6V and 7.2V charges i'm not bothered about the others. I've tried selling em in the past or selling with cars but like you say it just adds to postage. I don't bother trying to sell separately now. If you have the room just hang on to em or put em in a bargain bin at a TC event (if we have one this year !)

I totally agree.I have now started to bin them on sight!! Is this bad? I too have a boxed 6v , 7.2 acoms and a modern all singing and dancing charger. It is anoying when one arrives with a purchase! Thanks..

personally i'd bin em . A new charger costs little these days . Not worth the extra postage to sweeten a deal IMO .

I found a use for mine the other day - resurrected a LiPo that wouldn't charge on the proper LiPo charger. I trailed a circuit breaker equipped lead out from the kitchen onto the patio, bucket of sand at the ready. Half an hour on the old school charger, and it's been fine since. Works perfectly with the proper LiPo charger now, and in the car.

You don't need to use the old charger , I do the same thing .

If the li po won't charge it because the voltage is low , so i give it a quick charge to bring up the voltage & Bam it's good to go .

I have never had a problem since & it still goes today .
