Ok guys, I am trying to refurbish my dads old Kyosho Super Alta Porsche 956. It has some really bad paint on it, and I need some help redoing it. Is there anyway that I can get the paint off the lexan? I heard something about brake fluid or brake cleaner. Please let me know, any help is appreciated. I really want to try and get this car looking pro like I know it can and surprise him.

Well i did a check and it seems people are split. So I was hoping to get a straight "use this method" answer. Thanks for the help though!

Hi.,

Use Delta Activator!

I was first to bring it to the forums attention at the beginning of the year. It dissolves paint off of lexan and does not hurt the plastic in any way. It is designed to remove paint/pen graffiti from plastic so is in fact the correct tool for the job. Do a search on it on the forum for contact details and pricing, etc, etc.

Funny you should mention that. I went to the site and thought the exact same thing. Turns out they are going to start shipping to the U.S. in early September!!!! So I am going to luck out. Looks like I should be able to get it done for my dad's b-day at the end of September. Thanks for the help guys. The guy at Delta was very helpful and even said he figured I heard about it over here. Looks like Dave need some money for his endorsment of the product huh?[;)]
