Club running just for fun

Ok ive given up fighting and decided to get myself and the kids registered with brca, but im struggling to find a club within a reasonable distance where we can run our vintage and re-re tamiya's, Im based in rotherham, south yorkshire, so can anyone suggest any clubs to try, ive spoken to a few local-ish ones but they seem reluctant to help us unless we are getting into racing.
