Have you seen Bloodclod's build, he cut the wheel arches higher, and it makes the body look much better

Yes sir, I've grown to like it as is, plus I need to keep the sand out :).

Tested today ! First impression ?

Very heavy, quick on 2s, but will need to add a 3s lipo to really move along. Or, replace those heavy steel side plates with something lighter, like carbon fiber or polycarbonate

**Someone please machine some lighter plates**

Has some understeer, a bit heavy sprung but scoots along - torque twist is slightly noticeable.

(Not lighting fast, speed demons will need 3s lipo or a hotter motor).

Were you able to grab any video??

No video, and yes, it's nice to actually have built a runner txt ! (My InetRC, TTR & Xtreme R/C TXT's are shelfers).

oh, and some g10 fiberglass or carbon fibre plates would be hot

ArcoCustom put clear lexan plates on his over at RCMT http://www.rcmt.net/forums/showthread.php?27218

I'm watching that build, great stuff so far - I want some that look like they are "factory cut" which I'm not capable of. Need to do something or someone else needs to, because those steel plates really add weight to this truck. I'm aware of the xtreme rc carbon chassis but I just want lighter plates to bolt on here.

Thanks for the comments. I'll update as I have more time to experiment with a 3s lipo or a hotter motor or . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Only if you change the driveshaft and wheel hub to stock clod parts - the txt driveshaft is longer.

Just grab some txt wheels, they use standard clod tires.

I can't find any txt wheels. Lol

Thanks! Those are TXT wheels I assume? Just want to be sure before I order.

hong kong knock offs, run true and good for a runner, but if your a purist the chrome isn't as high a shine, say a 8.5 of 10 on the shine scale.

I like to strip mine and paint white anyway so they're fine for me

*UPDATE*

Took the Agrios for a spin first thing this AM, stripped out the steering servo. (Hitec HS646WP)

In my haste, I installed it with a standard servo horn, not a servo saver  .

The rear shocks seem to have leaked out all the oil, which I have found to be a problem with one of the Proline Scaler Sets I have. They appear to be a bit short as well, not allowing enough travel.

Solutions ?

Purchased a replacement servo already at LHS this AM with a Kimborough Servo Saver (Small & Large to make sure I got one that will fit).

Contemplating ordering the Traxxas Aluminum Big Bore Shock Set for the E-Maxx, Part #TRX4962, great price for eight shocks (between 65-80 bucks if you look around).

It's quick on 2s lipo but no speed demon, but I won't try 3s lipo for fear of shredding the drivetrain, not sure it was ever designed for such power :o !

Hows it going with your truck? Did you try 3S lipo or a hotter motor yet?

Looks gorgeous

To update (Special thanks member: ant88 ):

New (proper) body, clear polycarbonate side plates - like a 1:1 MT.
