[:I] this is my first contri [:D]

After some years I bought a Tamiya some Weeks ago.

Golf IV V5 ff01 - Chassis was in very good Condition but the Body looked awfull. Now I want to restore the car.

I found a NIB Body with decals [;)]

I wonder if I should scan the Decals?

I remember somthing like a "Decal Database", I think I saw it on www.tamiyaclub.com but I can't find it right now.

I am also looking for the following decals:

Toyota Monster Racer

Monster Beetle

Hot Shot II

Lunch Box

Black Foot

Thx for any comments and hints.

PS: Which is the best way to remove old colours from lexan bodys (want to restore Hot Shot and Monster Racer).[V]

I normally scan them as well. I also scan the window masks that come with some kits. These would be easy to re-make if you need them again and they are very useful.

Ok, I'll scan my decals from now on B)

Does it matter which format I save them (tiff, jpg, gif, bmp)?

Which resolution and format would you propose?

@WillyChang:

Yes, scanned ones are ok for me. [:P]

At least 300 or even better 600dpi and if possible save as tiff or if you dont have too much disk space jpeg with at least 75% quality...
