There's no mention of a reverse function which might be important to you for general pleasure running.

The BEC output will struggle to power a steering servo on anything other than a skiny tyres light 2 wd buggy too - you might get away with it on a grasshoper/hornet or a wild one but anything heavier will be a real challenge.

I've had a few for light use (incl 4wd buggies) and they've done the job OK, especially if you have numerous cars and don't want to swap a single set of electrics around all the time.

You might want to look at something like the modelsport/mtroniks sport auto 20 esc though - its twice the price but proven reliable for many years and its waterproof.

I tested a 20A version of that ESC in my Micro T and from memory the behaviour lead me to believe the ESC is meant for planes. I'd go with 30YrsL8r.

Cheers all. I went for the Hobby King car one in the end for $8.99. Strangely, it was cheaper postage-wise to make 3 orders on 1 unit than to order 3 at the same time!
