Country Music is finally over, as today the great Merle Haggard left this world. The pain is huge. The Hag not only was one of the greatest songwriters/singers to ever grace the airwaves, the man was also a hero.

He told his stories, and was a poet of the common man.

Rest in Peace, Merle. You'll be deeply missed.
