Going through my projects today & thought I will post up what's down the line for me..

I normally buy a wreck & then over time buy the bits needed for the project car. In some cases well over a yr but I know what parts are needed 7 slowly buy them when they came up.

This pic is a original FROG which is mostly there and I have all the bits needed for a restore.

The Hot Shot 2 is in a bad way missing the front end but otherwise all there. I have a spare red front shock & a new sticker sheet so a new shell will be ordered soon. I have heaps of front end spares in my grave yard so it's almost ready.

I bought this Turbo Optima to turn into a Salute or a optioned out Optima. Needs a full rebuild & have slowly bought the parts needed but still need a few more bits. The original Boomer is all there it just needs a good clean up I say.

The Nikko Super Sprint is another car I got from a fellow T/C member and slowly getting the parts to turn into a runner. I just scored a "Up Works" main chassis which it needs as the original plastic chassis is toast from a full head on very earlier in it's life & never been fixed.

What projects have you got lined up?

Maybe not all that Tamiya related, and then anyway. Almost done with my Race Clod. Only needs the body, that is out for a custompaint.

Apart from that I am also a Maxx fanatic, so working on 2 E-maxx's as well, thought it wont hurt to show pics of those as well ;o) 1 complete Hardcore Racing build, and the other one is planned to be my runner/racer, and while waiting for a FLM chassis, I got the rearend assembled yesterday. Mostly Hardcore Racing and Unlimited Engineering parts on this.

...and then ofcourse waiting for my preordered RC10 and will most likely pick up a Novafox as well.

Basically bought for Optima Mid spares.

The yellow cva shocks will be cleaned, rebuilt and ebayed. The Kyosho Peugeot 405 nitro chassis will be stripped of any Optima parts and ebayed for a couple of pounds. Nitro engine will be re-ebayed.

I need to stop buying these wrecks - i just end up rebuilding them instead of parting them if i'm not careful

Rear suspension. Have a look at my desperate measure to get this thing working.

Ball connectors always come handy when in need. ;)

Just picked this up on ebay and will be going over it with a fine toothed comb. It will be a runner and i will not be 100% original upgrades for durability will be entertained.

Sadly my next project (a TL01B resto with a few mild hop-ups) consists only of a bunch of ideas and a budgeting spreadsheet at the moment. Photos to come as parts arrive.

Some great looking projects there. Here is are a couple of mine, first up is my Sand Scorcher. Had this for too long and I would really like to have it looking well unlike the half finished state it's in.

A project for further into the future is my Mountaineer. I have almost everything required for it to be complete I am just a bit fearful of doing the painting. It's not my strong point. I will put up better pictures in a Resto thread in the future

I also have another project on the go currently but that is not fully Tamiya related so again I will wait a while before putting up anything about that.

Woohoo, pleased to say this pretty much came off as planned, although i still have the Pug 406 nitro bits to sell off for a few pence

Just a idea at the moment but once I have the Tonka Winnebago done I quite fancy building a trailer to haul my Jeep scaler . After that I think a Brat chassis based Baja Beetle using a re re Scorcher body might be on the cards . I love the looks of the Scorcher but find the handling and performance a real let down .

After I finish off my scorpion build

I want to paint my bronco shell

image_zps8211f863.jpg

Just haven't decided on a final scheme and whether I'll do the striping with paint or stickers.

Waterbok, that is awesome work on those WW1 axles. I've never broke those on my runner but I have broke the front knuckles and front bulkhead

Those wheels and tires look awesome on that Bronco, Shodog!

They are made by Gearhead and sold through top hobby and RC4WD
