Tiger 1 Tunisia 1943

Recommended Posts

This is my latest attempt at painting (stop laughing at the back)
It is of, Tiger 712 of the 7th Company 7th Panzer Regiment,10th Panzer Div.
this tank was captured around june 1943, and was sent to Scotland for testing, it has since "disappeared" icon_e_wink.gif
rumour has it that it is in the wheatcroft collection icon_razz.gif

as always any comment both good and bad please

Looks good and dusty to me, nice weathering. The only comment id make is it could do with a light misting of Matt varnish to kill the shiny finish.

Looks pretty good to me. :) I've been wanting to pick up a Tiger and paint it up Afrika Korps style.. yours is great inspiration!

Absolutely beautiful! I love what you got with that paintjob.

I have a Tamiya Tiger tank myself, just not enough time yet to start working on it :(

I think the shiny look is because of the camera lights, as in the flesh it is quite dull (to me) what i might do is put a daylight pic up and see what you guys say,

as my eyes could be a bit off

Looks excellent . The only thing that would improve it is some crew stowage and maybe a fuel drum or jerry cans .

Something about the look of the Tiger that makes it stand out from the rest. I think is the boxy looks that makes it a beast.

For the Tiger, I just wish Tamiya would put the wider track version, which would make the Tiger look even more deadly...?

Your paint job is tops in my book.
