Japanscaledriver 14 Posted July 21, 2013 I might spray Lame Flake before I spray the main colour. I've done it on a couple of bodies and it looks great.Dark colours look like they will be the go. Now I have to make sure I post a pic of it here when done.If I can get something similar to my re-re bruiser colour...

ChrisRx718 4470 Posted July 21, 2013 I think a buggy should always stand out. I love the fluorescent Tamiya colours but you need to back with white for them to really pop. fluo red hurts your eyes to look at when done properly!

mtbkym01 4008 Posted July 26, 2013 Ended up using PS-59 Dark Metallic Blue That's fantastic, can't wait to build mine, it will remove the temptation I've had for a couple years to build my original. Top job indeed

Japanscaledriver 14 Posted July 27, 2013 This is indeed an Awesome look...great choice of color...very elegant. ..:-) Thank you for the compliment. Get some lame flake on that body, if it aint sparkly it aint worth drivin PS-53 Couldn't justify the use of Lame flake on such a small area. Especially since a lot of it is covered by decals. But, I have a few other cars with sparkles.
