No stickers with the clear ones, mind, probably why they are so cheap! The detail on the mould looks quite good though. I wonder what the wheel arches would accommodate?

I think the pre-painted ones are possibly printed in colour before being moulded? That would make a lot of sense...

Its a style over functionality statement - massively overpriced IMO

Anyway, back to the RC shell - for the money you can't go wrong, But finding some wheels that are in scale might be more of a challenge.

1.9" wheel might not be too hard to find, but getting a tyre that's 1.9" inside diameter and ca 2.4" (61mm) outside diameter may be a challenge (mission impossible ?)

Dave I think standard CC-01 items would look almost scale on this .

Well, i cannot disagree more! Personally, i believe the Evoque is the best design they have had in ages and it works too as they have upped the capacity already twice to cope with the demand. From an offroad point of view it can handle anything that a Freelander 2 can. Its the same chassis, same drivetrain, same engine and same gearbox with the exact same offroad options as the Freelander 2.

Is it obvious from the above that i own one?

I don't mind the Evoque...it's the majority of the people or the purpose they are often bought for...tooling around in the city!

I found this over on RCCrawler -

Looks like the owner may have enlarged the wheel wells beyond the cut line however, it's difficult to tell.

Or if the previously posted testimonial is true, it's designed to look like it's meant for tooling around the city, while still being just as capable as the Freelander 2.

A mate of mine spent 4 years designing that car as a packaging engineer, even he thinks it looks like a squashed toad!

Well, then tell your mate to keep on designing squashed toads...
