lin6499 237 Posted August 2, 2013 I have been planning this for a long time. Now, the basic idea is done. I got a 3d printer and a cutting machine to make parts or plates. However, the biggest problem is I don't have a lathe to make shafts.

lin6499 237 Posted April 30, 2014 This thing is incredible? Have you made any more progress? Not much. test run didn't go very well. I guess I need a new front damper stay.
mugenbulldog 3 Posted May 8, 2014 I can check my spares but if I have anything its probably bent. Pargu makes them new and sells a tall version. You might also get some more die-hard vintage kyosho guys looking at this if you post it on rc10talk or oople. What wheels and tires are you running?

I had tried and couldn't get an acount for RC10talk. As for the damper stay, I think I can handle this problem. In fact, I'm working on it and later on I'll have 2nd test run. tintin74 1 Posted August 10, 2014 Not much. test run didn't go very well. I guess I need a new front damper stay. Whaou really like your work done on this Optima, would you mind if I posted this picture on my website, and of course, give credit and link to this thread. lin6499 237 Posted November 5, 2014 I got a second thought. By moving a plastic part, the battery can be moved forward or backward. Body mounted, not a perfect one though.
lin6499 237 Posted February 2, 2016 A few changes. 1.belt: 250XL -> 248XL. 2.battery: short Lipo. There's no space for a fan. Used to be an aluminum arm. Now An unpainted shell for this car. Put this on and I'm suprised that the body of Optima Pro fits almost perfectly. There will be a driver, not this one though. I found this picture recently.
