Yep, "the drop" would have to be my all time fave Tamiya video moment.
You know, I reckon the rear takes the full impact, and nothing breaks at all.
And then the video immediately cuts to this cool shot...

FFPDS was certainly super strong.
It gives me the impression that it maintains oil pressure to the rear shock in a way that also tends to limit 'bottoming-out' (but it could just be my imagination).

I was really trying not to post in the forums.. BUT..I really love the Super Champ...Not really an SRB, Special Racing Buggy, like the Rough Rider and the Sand Scorcher..It kind of got drafted because of the tranny and the front end...

It does not have a radio box or torsion suspension like the SS, RR or XLT...I usually put RC-10 shocks in the rear..well in the front too..They are just so cool with the mech deck in stead of the radio box..but no one raced any of the SRB including the Super Champ with out the aftermarket up grades...Well maybe they did but never got very far..I still have close to 15 Champs in different stages from NIB, New Build, modified, HIGHLY modfied and in pieces..lol

best to everyone...
