They're still in production just out of stock. Contact Banzaihobby and ask them to special order them for you direct from Tamiya. The part number is 0444140

To be honest, they have been there since Friday afternoon and I have been amazed to keep going back and seeing that no more had been sold since I bought my own set. I can only assume that since he didn't list the part number they were not showing up in people's searches.

I'd keep an eye on that guy's auctions as he tends to relist a lot of hard to find stuff like this. He keeps listing Avante Black Special Decals again & again from God knows where.

I messaged the seller and he's just relisted a fresh batch of rims, have ordered a set now. Thanks for your help. (Plenty left boys).

Great stuff. He is a very good seller too, I have bought loads of stuff from him.

The semi slicks look good if you want to use it as a shelfer. The ABS body will limit my desire to run it on dirt, so I personally would not opt for the rally blocks. If I ever do run it, it will be on an empty track with good traction for fear of hitting something lol.

That's my thinking too, this is deffo gonna be a shelfer unless I can find a proper RC track with cushioned barriers ha ha!

I plan on running mine with the re-release Porsche 911 GT2 body. Im pretty sure the 30th anniversary 911 Turbo body will fit as well (special edition that came on TA05). The body set is not available, but you can buy the body, h parts and decal sheet desperately. I then plan on havin the 037 be displayed on the shelf.

You can buy the Porsche 934 body? Where?! It would complete my collection...I already have the H-parts from another project.

Semi slicks ordered, that's me done for ordering, just gotta put the thing together now!

Wish I was that far forward. Still need tyres & a chassis. <_<

jr-rc has got one for starters. Not cheap mind you.

Rallylegendsrc UK have just listed a set if their wheels for £10 delivered if anyone is interested: http://bit.ly/17Wvt8A they also have tyres and other products for sale too.

That's a great spot Steve, I've just bought the wheels and tyres...very happy with that!

I'd better get the body shell next then....

My wheels and tyres arrived today. No sign of the TA03RS yet though.

I still need to order the bodyset, I should get on with it really..

I almost would have for those tires alone; alas, they only post to the U.K....

Another used example of 58040 for a higher price is going internationally there. It looks decent; just missing a front light and both rear units, the original bumper pieces (the mount is there), and the chassis could use a refresh. However, another seller has broken up a Lancia 037 re-release body set, meaning that for once light buckets, lenses, and even (slightly-different) window glass should actually be affordable.

Being uncertain of the legality of posting such a link, I hope the description suffices.

Today's listing went for £74.00 inc post and packing, which seemed good value to me.

I was poised to bid, but I really do not need any more R/C models at the moment!

I keep promising to sell a few more before buying anymore...

Thank you for this thread and for making me need something I didn't know I needed;) Body on its way from Hong Kong as we speak. Just need a car to fit it on. Would the porsche taisan chassis work?

Which site in HK did you buy the body from?

The Taison was on a TA02SW chassis (short wheelbase, not wide) The wheels are wide in the back to give it the right look.

The same Porsche body with PIAA livery was sold with a TA03R-S.
