No, for sure, believe me.

I have all Avante based model and so I have an original Avante 2001 and Vanquish body is direct fit between the front shock tower.

At the end Avante 2001 and Vanquish front shock tower have the same geometry, one made of FRP, the other one made of plastic.

If you are thinking to Egress 2013 shock tower, or vintage Egress shock tower, or Avante Graphite Chassis Set shock tower or Hi Cap Dampers mini shock tower (the one you mount) they are not direct fit with Vanquish body and you need to trim the body of loose a screw.

It's actually too narrow to fit the body well. And without the alloy body mount I mentioned, there would be nothing to hold the body on. The hi-cap tower is by far my favorite.

So even if that were the case, how would you hold the front of the Vanquish body onto the chassis? That alloy body mount is THE SINGLE RAREST part in the Avante series (titanium step screws are a close second). TamiyaEra can back that up.

Decent price compared to the Avante black special for £800 currently on ebay :rolleyes:

Bought mine yesterday from RC Mart and was $339 US + post . Almost $600 AU.

Has to be the most expensive Re re I bought ever and up there with any electric kit ...

What was the Avante when Re re'd ? I got mine 2nd hand half built so don't know how much they were new but I think they were up there too.

At least the Egress comes with all the goodies like Hi Caps, RD Steering, Ball diffs and so on. Unlike the Avante which I bought all the this stuff to get it to hook up.

Can't wait.

That $339 US is cheap , But our AU $$$ is the problem :( . This is why i have stopped buying , 30 % more cost + PP 3 % .

Except when Beef has some thing too sell Grr :lol: .. I seem to buy it !.

Well you will want to enjoy the build for sure @ that price :lol: ...

I pride myself as to have nice runners so this won't be put away as hard as it is going to be to bust open the first bag or blister box.

My collection is 70% runners and have decided to sell all my new build's or too good to run cars and some projects builds soon.

Darn it missed reduced price, i need to get one even though i wont build for ages. How is stock looking still seems to be plenty about?

Too Funny.

I'm doing the opposite . I just made the decision to sell all my non runners & NB's shortly.

My pleasure comes from building and understanding the design, Tuning, Modifying if needed and of course running it hard but not abusing it.

We are all different that's what makes the world turn. lol

Ordered from Stella, £270 delivered and never had customs charge with them but we will see lol! Would of been £290 from tamico though not sure how much shipping is with them.

Though I don't have space or time to build yet, had to get, as typically they will go out of production one day!

Does anyone use an upright servo with it?

My first one came from Stella when they first came out, but it sat in it's box for two years because I was in two minds about building it or keeping it NIB. Tamico recently reduced the price on theirs (299.00 Euros) for one week so I had to get one. Now I have a NIB and a new built, minus the body which I have yet to cut and paint etc. I can't wait to run it when the weather improves.

yay came today 1 week from Stella, is not heavy big enough box lol, need to leave in work until drive in though boohoo!

Finally got it home, box is immaculate and so well packed by Stella again, all polystyrene inside etc amazing kit to!

It is all over Facebook today, that Egress 2013 will get another run that will be released september 2018. I sure hope it's true then i will get myself one more :)
