Strange it says sold out.. I guess they took in a bunch of orders already at that price.

Amiami always allow preorders up to the stock allocation that they think that they'll get. After they reach that, they mark the item as 'out of stock'. Once the item actually launches, they generally put them back on sale again.

I collect Figmas, and always order from them. They do this with those too.

Hopefully the launch date will come quite soon, although I am seriously tempted to get a RC10 just to tide me over... Is that nuts? ;-)

Just back from Japan and while in the Tamiya Plamodel Factory I picked up an upcoming release brochure with the egress on the front. Not sure if its been clarified with regard to the wing mount, but it certainly appears that there are mounting points for a wire wing mount, so is his like the original?

Thanks buddy,

Well, would it be possible to have more focused photos?

Cos what it appears to be that the front and rear arms are of reinforced type ( in vintage Egress there were limited kits with these reinforced parts )..which is great sign to see these reinforced parts.

BTW, Also the Vajra has these reinforced parts which is definitely is the same mold for the re re egress.

Cheers

i am reeeealy excited about the re re of the egress ................. just because we can get rear hi cap dampers again !!!! B)

Lol! also for me the main reason for having it on the market although i am quite happy with the Dyna Storm dampers i have on my Top Force right now

DS's "Sleeved" dampers are definitely the better performer of the two. The Hi-Caps have no "pack" due to the vented bladders. Not exactly ideal for landing jumps. If the Sleeved dampers had air-bleed screws they would probably be on par with modern TRF dampers. Too bad they never made them in "mini". :\

The screws all look kinda... grey... in the top shot too. Kinda Titanium grey. ;-)

Why do you guys keep trying to get everyone's hopes up. Those are DEFINITELY NOT titan screws.

Actually, I´m not a friend of dampers without bladder to compensate for piston rod volume inside. But I´m out of buggy racing since the late 90´s, and all the Tamiya TRF´s running nowadays without bladder. Is it just because of bigger jumps, where the bladders can crack due to the high compression force?

I'll go back to my earlier confession of understanding absolutely nothing technical. So my reply to this set of comments regarding the shocks and which are best would be...

'Oooooh hi-caps, they're silver/grey with gold springs, so they are the bestest in the whole wide world'

...as you can see, I know my sh!t. Nobody can argue with my thinking here ;)
