Wonder if they will fit each tyre in the four corners of the bodyshell compartment like the original too?

On inspection, it seems they will indeed as the body mould is identical to the original with the four blocks moulded at each corner to accomodate the tyres.

The aluminum brace is mounted reversed.

No need to cry, you have many years to save and buy. This is NOT a limited release kit :)

One interesting note: They've added shims to the back of the bearing on the one-way shaft to fix the clearance problem on the re-re torque splitter. The original torque splitter had a brass spacer to take up this slack.

Yes, fortunately but I need to save for the Avante 2011 too...

Avante + Egress = 1.000 Euro???

The thing is, with Tamiya we can never state this with any conviction. For instance the second production run of the Novafox is yet to materialise.

True - and the Hotshot is still around but the Boomerang long gone.

The Avante is still available, no reason to say the Egress won;t be around for 12 months but its anyones guess.

Nothing to worry about, TamiyaEra is buying up all the Egress's so we can go to him for one when the supply dries up ;)

The one that really made me mad was the Top Force. Those disappeared so fast I missed them completely. They were only $200us too. <_<

Look fine to me too Haider - its just that the 3mm alloy spacer is smaller diameter than the base of the bushing that carries the rubber o ring - bit sloppy design really but its parts they already have i suppose

They do have the shock collar on back to front though :(

I just found a full set of Hi-Cap springs in my spares.

They look just like the original Egress gold springs but are dull silver (not gold). They are not the bright square wire Hop-Up springs.

Can someone please tell me where these would have originated ? Thank you.

I had two of them and sold them both. One of my biggest regrets since getting back into the hobby.

I think the Evo will get a re-release in the not-too-distant future though.

mmm,,,i dont see any problems!!

Can you please explain more

The silver BB3 bushing at the top of the damper is the wrong way around. The one that looks like a T if looked at from the side. The thin part should go inside the rubber washer.

Mate..

It is done correctly..and it is already inside the rubber bushing but since the spacer is smaller than the vintage one, u feel like if it is they way around..;-).

Check the manual and u will see the difference...

Also if u check the re re Hi Cap installation guide, u will see it is the same..

Cheers
