Its a let down, but I'm set on a 2014 purchase now, wait till all the hype has died down and the multiple cardboard box pics have actually become queens or runners, it'll come good, and by that time, we will see many spares listed too!

Yep. It will be interesting to see if the entire amount of the full first batch sell out across the board in Hong Kong & Japan online stores. I really need a Wild One & Novafox to cross off the wish-list and I could spend the Egress money on those with healthy spare change.

Erm, not really. Getting it a week or two late means nothing to me, it's the feelings of the person who is buying it for me I am concerned about.

You're stating it's the only item in the entire world that will make an acceptable gift for you to receive for Jesus' birthday.

It just reminded me of dear Veruca.

Strongly doubt it mate. Hong Kong post were stating the last recommended departure date to the UK was 30th November. If still they aren't getting sent a week after that date then there is no chance of getting one on time now.

True, but I'm more optimistic - my Mad Bull departed Banzai in Japan today via EMS, and I'm hoping to get my mitts on that next week !

Dear God, what are you talking about?

Me and my other half agreed months ago what we would like from each other for Xmas and how much we would spend. I have already bought her stuff and she has been waiting patiently for me to give her the nod to spend the funds on the Egress. Now, since it looks like Tamiya are not going to be able to deliver I am considering scrapping the idea so that she can still give one of the many other "acceptable" gifts on Xmas day.

Unless you think she should get me a Xmas day gift and then an Egress a couple of weeks later?

This is the only solution. The end.

Anyone else find themselves on Banzai with like, 4 cars/trucks in their basket fighting the urge your finger has to complete the transaction?

**** you Banzai and your unacceptably ridiculous cheap prices, fabulous service and superb selection of tamiya goodies. **** you!

You may well be right. I think I'll follow in your footsteps and get a PS4 for Xmas Day.

If only!

Here in my case, if they will ship by mid Dec., then definitely i will get it in 5-7 days time :)...matter of time...hope it will be available in the coming days!

Hi guys, in your opinion could it be used on a modern astro turf track (only for fun, of course)

I'm sure it will run fine. I run my Vanquish on tarmac & mixed surfaces and it's tons o fun.

Well this screw up has done me in .

Ok , JR-RC had Egress's & i said no ! . I will wait as i preordered with stella .

Then Banzai had them & i said no , I will wait as i preordered with stella .

RC10 was coming out & i was going to get two of them , till i saw that the Egress was coming .

so i didn't get the RC 10 , now i don't have both .

I wished that i got that or the Egress from JR-RC / Banzai , so i have some thing for christmas .

Wandy , why don't you get the novafox & the wildone for christmas & leave the rest of the

money to go to the Egress at a latter date . Win - Win . Hope it turns out for you & you get some

thing for X-mas . So have a merry christmas & new year .

I purchased my egress from jr-rc 3 weeks ago and still no sign of it. I asked for a tracking number but no reply. I am looking out for the posty every day. I never even had an egress as a kid. If I am nostalgic for any kit it would be the vanquish as I had a brand new one that i swapped for my sega master system when i was at school but i always thought the egress looked cool and now i have ordered one due to a resurgence of my love for tamiyas i have never been so excited about a parcel. I think this forum has contributed to the "hysteria" and now i just want to get my hands on it. I have had a nib bruiser on the shelf for over a week, i did not want to get half way through the build and the eggy turn up but i could have built and run it by now!. Come on posty!. Ps that pic in this forum of a guy unboxing a pair of them has me green with envy! The box art looks amazing!!!!!!.

Many thanks :)

With a new track (maybe the first proper 1/10 track never built in the area) near to be open I'm considering to buy a car to have fun... but it's hard to consider a non-tamiya car with the re-re Egress on the market.

I use my Avante 2001 on tarmac with Egress wheels/tyres and the thing is a beast! Its fantastic! Personally, I've never enjoyed driving a buggy on tarmac as much as my Avante 2001. Pre warning though, the Hybrid Spikes, they look lovely, but they disappear down to slicks after a handful of goes, they're reserved for off road really.

I NEED TO FINISH MY EGRESS BUILD!

I bought the RC10 too, but have to say, its still unbuilt, and now that my Egress is under way, its unlikely to ever get built I think. I may end up selling the RC10 as the nostalgia factor isn't really that strong.

Mmmm...further to my inquiry for more Egress, I got this mail from Banzai:

Hi.

Unfortunately, there are no further allocation for Egress.

We do not know if Tamiya will re-produce again.

If they do re-produce, we will try to source these in stock.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

Kind regards

Banzai Hobby

If true then this the worst Horror senario ever faced!

Jeez, I joked about this but never thought it could be true. This is kinda scary. Glad I got one, but equally kinda freaked out that I just started building what maybe the single most limited run Tamiya car in history. Oops.

Bah, made to be played I guess.
