To update.. I received an email from jr-rc stating that the tracking number he sent me will only activate once the parcel clears uk customs which does not sound right to me?, so by all accounts after over 3 weeks since purchase on ebay the item has not even left japan yet even tho he told me it was shipped nearly a fortnight ago!.I Will just have to wait and hope for the best. I have the feeling that he is waiting for stocks like everyone else and would just rather be told straight and kept informed. I will wait 5 weeks since purchase since purchase and if still not here will start a paypal claim. Thanks for the advice though guys. On a brighter note, how about we see some more pics / videos of any new builds etc?.

Yes , i did say this sort of b4 , i don't see nothing till i get it to my P.O . Not sure why , So stop worring about it .

It will turn up , it's the christmas rush time for the post service .

If he says he has sent it & you have the number IT'S SENT !! .

NO , he sells what he has in stock & that's it .

Regarding the theory's on "Christmas rush". That might be a bit easier to believe had i not purchased a bruiser roughly the same time as the egress which turned up from dinball in less than a week!.

Lucky run with the bruiser , I know it takes 7 to 9 days to get to me . Most of the time .

But at this time of the year , it does take longer . With all that is going on with typhoons etc .

Things will take longer . Since christmas is here , there will be a back log of stuff .

Most of it HAS to been screened theses day , B4 it gets send around the world .

I am waiting on some stuff , from some one else & that has been a month so far .

I have talked to them & it is sent , just taking longer than normal .

The fact that the tracking number contains 11 digits instead of the required 9 digits means the number is bogus.

EMS only has one format and it follows XX000000000YY. There is no valid number with 11 digits surrounded by 2 alphabetic characters on each side.

xray mark, open a claim before 45 days if you do not receive the package. That is all you need to worry about.

I smelt a fish when he said it had 11 digits. I've bought NIBs from him several times and although most of the time its good, there were a few times where the photos of the listed item were not identical to what was delivered (and a couple of blemishes on the box of a vintage kit makes a huge difference to its value).

Xray mark, its way past the suggested dateline on your item's listing. You have the option of opening a "Did Not Receive Item" ebay case right now. And once you've opened a case and you can't come to a satisfactory solution, you can let ebay step in and make a decision after 7 days from the day you opened the case. And ebay will definitely decide in your favour and refund you fully if that number is bogus. I had several deliveries from Japan Post in the last 2 months and their tracking numbers still work on their tracking site (even now).

I personaly had to make a claim against jr-rc.

my item was ordered via his website, I never got a despatch email, and as far as I am aware the item was never sent.

I have had very good deliveries from jr-rc in the past, so I too was hesitant at putting forward a claim (paypal found in my favour)

If you are worried about the delivery, the only sensible option is to open a claim, especially if its near the cut off for making a claim

If the parcel is delivered in the mean time you can inform ebay / paypal and stop the claim.

On a side note

I too am waiting for an Egress lol,,,,, trying to keep this in egress news :)

my Egress will come from Stella, excellent service, when they get stock

Yeaa,, they might get the stock by mid or 3rd week of December...:)...so hope to get it soon

Drum roll until Tuesday at Fusion Models...let's see if Joanne's supplier is good on his word!

Yeah Fusion is only a good price if you're a TC member and UK based (free shipping).

I've almost finished the build now, so part 3 will go up on the blog tomorrow :)

I'll tell you what's really astonishing now I'm near the end of the build, and that's just how truly different this car actually is to the original. Almost every single part is new. That's no criticism though, just a statement. I think it should have been called 'The Egress Evolution' personally.

Superb build.

I'll tell you what's really astonishing now I'm near the end of how build, and that's just how truly different this car actually is to the original. Almost every single part is new. That's no criticism though, just a statement. I think it should have been called 'The Egress Evolution' personally.

Superb build.

Just waiting to put my hands on it to feel the differences and they compared to Vintage :)

If Joanne @ Fusion gets her allocated stock on Tuesday whoever has ordered the egress with her should get a nice delivery pretty quick. Their delivery is quick via reputable courier which is tracked. And if you are a TC member it's a good price and nice wondering if you'll get stung with customs charges lol.

You don't have to be a TC member to get a 10% discount from Fusion..

At Fusion you get 5% discount if you're not a subscribing member and 10% if you are.
