At Fusion you get 5% discount if you're not a subscribing member and 10% if you are.

Steve.

As I said, you don't need to be a member of TC to get a 10% discount, you don't even need to mention TC.

First time I ordered I was asked for my TC membership number before I was given my code. So I guess in some cases you do.

I have a friend who is not a TC memeber and got the 10% discount

WHAT !! You have a friend ?. How can you afford one of those with your RC habit :P . I can't  ..

There are other discount codes available via other RC club sites - in my case, I just needed to register with the site in order to obtain a perminent 10% discount code which can be applied either at checkout online or over the phone with Joanne.

Reached Home an unpacked the Pack which contains the Egress Body Set..:)

Amazing Packing , Everything is fresh like it has been out from the Factory Now!...looovve it.

i did a comparison between the vintage and this Re-Re, and they 1005 identical in everything except for the Wing: the vintage one has 4 holes and this re-re has 2 holes.

over all,,Thank you Tamiya for Releasing the Body same as the vintage One :).

The Decal is AWESOME too!...

Shinny color! ( definitly, we used to see vintage ones which already beed faded little, but putting both side by side you will see how the Re-Re one is sooo Yummy..

@matman: hope you get your soon ;)

OUCH! Looks like RC Mart got stock and shipped them all...at...$822.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaat? That's not like RC Mart, they're normally really good on price. Looked like they wanted to milk this RC cow for all she's worth!

http://www.rcmart.com/tamiya-58583-egress-2013-road-p-38061.html

Did anyone check their prices out when they did have stock? I have seen retailers whack their prices up after they go out of stock. Something to do with how their systems are set up and needing to keep everything on the site but not encourage people to try and buy. But if they actually sold them at $822, then all I can say is wow! :o They are selling at the MSRP, same as Tamiya USA :o

As soon as these spring sets start cropping up for sale, I'm furnishing all my vintage Egress's with a fresh set. They are soooooooooooo nice!

Drum roll until Tuesday at Fusion Models...let's see if Joanne's supplier is good on his word!

Fingers crossed.

Just a quick update I spoke to Joanne at Fusion today and according to her supplier stock is now due on Friday. The reason for this, according to her supplier is due to the recent storms.

Most likely these springs will be overly soft for the original Egress spring position. The further you move the lower shock mounting inward, the stiffer the spring must be to support the car properly. I would like to see these front springs side-by-side with the originals. They look to have a half-coil more wire than the originals which will definitely make them softer.

Okay, you got me there  Isn't the amount of 'softness' of a spring primarily related the the material the spring is made of? Also, with a given material, wouldn't an increase in the number of coils result in a stiffer spring? i.e. the spring with more coils would have to be compressed slightly more in order to fit in a set length of damper. I can see if you increased the number of coils as a way of compensating for a softer material. Have I got it all wrong?
