egress rerelease in nov 2013

Guys i need a quick an answer from an egress builder.. I don't have a decent motor to put in the eggy. If i start the build how easy is it to fit the motor later or change the motor once car is built?.

To all the guys sat on the fence this is the best kit yet and is worth more than £399, you wil not be disappointed . Plus the box inserts are green, red and blue so very festive and perfect for a Xmas build!!.

Plus with the rerelease of the avante 2001 you get 2 cars for the price of one!. I jumped on and bought 2001 shell and white wheels after seeing this amazing car on ebay, whoever got this got a crazy bargain, that was dirt cheap for all that...

I think your issues are not o much DHL, but the speed at which Siedel package and despatch (they will be busy with local sales as well as internet) and the UK customs / mail processing.

Yeah man, fitting the motor is super easy, two screws onto the motor plate, and then two screws onto the gearbox. Nice and easy. Congrats on the 2001 too, they're ace cars!

Not posted in a while but had to share this as today I got an early Christmas present from the missus Turns out she was one of the lucky ones to get a pre-order from Fusion!!

This arrived today,

Box is a little squished but not Fusions fault as it was well packaged and I'm building and running it anyway.

I am halfway through the build and it absolutely fantastic. I have built umpteen xray cars which are high quality but this is one of my best builds ever. Hard to believe the design is from 1989. It seems like it coukd have been designed this year!. I think i am going to be different and paint the shell black and fit the white lightweight wheels like the egress mini 4wd, roll on the vanquish rerelease!. I just bought and built a bruiser rn36 and futaba 4gwd radio set but after building this egress i might sell it and get an avante or avante black. I bought an avante 2001 bodyset for the egress but i may buy an 2001 roller and fit the shell and new wheels to that.

Black will look Awesome on this kit and much Awesome with Avante 2001 body set ( Black ) and White Wheels...

I'm not to sure what colour yet , Was going to use my race colour PS 27 & still may do .

I was thinking black or white as well . I may do them all ?.

The PS27 may be too much , But it will be different so ..

TE are you going to make them different too each other ?.

Or both the same , just the body difference ?.

As you know i have many Avante series with different builds, so no other tweaks to make as i covered all the possible tweaks in my series

they will be the same , only the Body Change

and i am saving some $ for Vanquish Re Re ( which i am hopping desperately to be Released )

Well, i am into clear body for the Egress and PS-59/PS-16 for the Avante body, but i might go:

- Egress-Clear

-Egress- PS-41

-Avante 2001-PS-59 or PS-16

All will be decided when these babes are here !

We'll i have finished the build, what a cracker!. The only thing i am not happy with is the electronics install and please excuse the crusty old silver can, it's the only motor i had to hand. I too like the idea of buying an egress and an avante 2001 shell and wheels. And an empty box. That will be lovely. Here is mine...

OMG!! OMG!!!

I got home & all i saw was this box OMG!! . The post office lady

had dropped it off for me .

I didn't think i would have got this so soon .

Whats in the box ..

A big but , it is shrink wrapped & this is the 1st shrink wrapped RC i have ever had so it's going to stay like it .

Oh why this one , But on the good side , i will have too wait till i get my two from Stella @ some stage ( when they get them in ) .

YES,,Towerhobbies's kits are all shrink Wrap, thats why i pull the trigger for 1 from them which i asume it will be here in couple of days

Ohhh Mat dont, these Ebay scalpers are trying my nerve, I've hexed them all with warts on all sorts of uncomfortable areas of the body LOL.

Trying to get one still in the UK, I've a couple of options, but ill still be shelling out at least £70 over what ill bag one for January, so not sure what to do right now, its frustrating lol.
