Their site: $368 + shipping

yes..in USD...and ask them to set the vlaue to minimum they can so you will not be hit by custom.

I am sure UK mates here who bought the kit from stella will help you more... ;)

Excellent! Thanks for the advice. One Egress ordered :D I can't wait to get my hands on that car. Thanks again for the advice.

Well, my rollers finished pretty much. Going to get the the electric install tomorrow. Love the GM paint, not a great fan of the silver TBH, but i will paint one for prosperity later. Still want some black wheels, can't find them for love nor money, have they been swallowed up, anyone wanna sell me some, need to true up some foam tires.

Went for an insane long wing angle, just adds some 80's flair i think. I used the blue tie rod ends, i have two Hansell Vintage carbon towers, just need some lower metal brackets still.

Anyhoo, happy overall, lovely build, silly usual Tamiya quirkiness and OTT way of doing stuff, but thats why i love them, oh i did drop the suspension somewhat, used a 5mm spacer in the front, think it was 8mm in the back.

Hats off to your Egress build.

Thanks for the eye candy.

This is about the sleekest, sexiest Egress I have ever laid eyes on.

Black really brings the Egress character out.

I like the high wing look too.

I have never painted my buggies black in colour fearing I cannot see them if I drive them far or near bushes.

But for Egress, I have to follow your excellent example.

TC member Sunnyjai did a black Avante 2001 - it is another beautiful piece that I have to follow too.

I wonder if a high wing will look good on the 2K1 :)

Thanks!

Are the Egress spares currently available?

Max

I have bought them from the Tamiya dealer who ordered for me.

They use the codes on the last page of the manual.

Parts that I have bought include the shock towers, suspension arms, gearboxes, uprights, etc

Aluminum parts made by yeah racing for the avante 2011 ( rear hub and front knuckle) may be installed also on the egress 2013? :P

I do believe it is going to be cheaper to buy another kit as spare rather than buying parts separately. By doing this you will end up paying for 2 -3 kits..lool

i am going to buy 1 kit as spare in few months,,to save waiting, money and headache ;)

What do you use for your tyre lettering? That looks super neat. On my sports bike I used to have a special pen for tyre painting, but my bike was a tad bigger than an RC car lol.

Ooops, replied to the wrong person, that was meant for @ralphee

I wonder what parts the egress would fit to make the avante 2011 a better runner? Oh & please don't say just buy an egress lol :D cheers

I just want more gold springs. All my vintage ones have faded and lost their finish. I'd love 4 full sets of lovely new gold ones.

thanks for the info, but im a fan of the low sleek front avante shock mounts, high front shock throw tower mounts over scale the front end, yes im old school :D i guess it comes down to looks or better performance with more upright high shock towers. Cheers..

it depends on the track you run on, laydown works best for smooth surface with minimal jumps.

Sky high humps need more standup shocks otherwise Avante tends to belly slap a lot.

Started mine yesterday...

I will go with the torque splitter, thanks for your advices.

Still didn't decide between Bright Grey or Gun metal...attachicon.gifphoto(5).JPG

The Gun metal works well ;), for me it looks a bit more aggressive.

Yep, don't hesitate to post more pictures, your car is beautifull ;)

Thanks bud, as i said, been pondering chrome, wonder how that would look, should be pretty striking with the decals, very McLaren like?
