Hi guys, this may be a really silly question, but can I ask please, what is the situ re: pins in receiver? I ask as the two servo leads look like they should sit on '3' but other than the battery lead that plugs into the receiver which clearly has only 2 female ports for the pins (and is clearly a lot thinner) the other have 3 ports, yet looking at my receiver from the top, I see one channel has 3 pins and the other channel only 2 pins. I wonder if this is why it's not working properly?? I.e only the steering?? Any ideas and also how else to test it's working?? Thanks :-)

It sounds like a pin has broken off as you need 3 pins on a channel in order to get a signal to work (+ve, -ve and a signal wire).

Any chance of a pic or the make and model of the receiver so we can see what's going on?

Hi SteveU30 have sorted one of the issues out - when I shone a torch into it I could see a pin had bent right out of the way so I have bent it back and its working (the steering). BUT the forward and back will not work and I have also tried to re-set the speed controller - any ideas?!

Have you got the steering plugged into channel 1 and the throttle into channel 2? The black wires should be closest to the edge on most receivers.
