I'm constructing my Lunchbox and noticed that there are mount points on the main tub for the front a-arms, but that you actually mount them on addition parts that bolt to the tub.

What models, if any, actually use the original mount points on the main tub?

The original Mitsubishi Pajero used that chassis originally - the flat tray at the back was for a 6v battery too to help it wheelie

Thanks for that - I see they're not exactly the same (suspension mounts have changed, for example) but I guess Mr T just tweaked the tub a bit to suit the LB.

The Pajero chassis tub does have some non-bolt on differences like the lip at the front that the body clips under and the front upper shock mounts.

I rebuilt my Lunchbox once using the "hidden" bits, you end up with a very short wheel base.

Bear in mind that was a 2nd hand tub and the rear shelf had been removed by the previous owner.
