I wonder if you ever had one of the older SRB models. If not, what you have there is a great looking buggy, although a lousy runner. The rear suspension looks a bit funky and it is too bouncy. But believe me, that buggy will sure steal the show when over a shelf.

Parts are not that easy to come by, and most of them are expensive. If the car has a broken body, then expect to pay about hundred bucks for a replacement. Now, if you're getting the car for a not-so-high sum, then it's a good purchase. I have one and love it. Don't forget to share some photos when you get it! ;)

The decals come up sometimes on ebay but they are rare . Maybe one of our members have set they would be willing to sell you

The S/C gearbox accepts more motors without modifications to the gearcasing than the original SRB's do , but don't over-do it . You can ball race the S/C too

KEV is correct. The Super Champ uses the regular bearings you use in most Tamiya cars. Not all of the motors fit, but then again, the SC doesn't need funky motors. You'll notice that the day you run it. And if you plan to go brushless then expect to have a new set of rubbers for each run.

Your one very, very lucky man . These are getting rare . Yours looks to be in far better condition than most that come up for sale . If only I had the funds to make you a fair offer just now I would grab it from you as quick as I could drive to yours - and that would be quick seen as I also live in Peterbrough :D

My current line up is - Highly modified Blitzer Basher , Wild Dagger with Blackfoot body 4x4x4 Monster Truck , CC-01 With New Bright Jeep scale Crawler and my lads FTX Carnage Brushless . We have run them at Ferry Meadows but its a bit tame and flat there . Generally we have a run out to Hunstanton and run them on the beach and sand dunes . We have one rule . Everything I build gets run ;)

I have to disagree with that, to me its the ugly duckling of the Avante Family... but I have seen one or two on TC that are extremely nice and have made me think twice about them!
