Need to shift these ASAP to fund another project. Little surprised they haven't sold on eBay to be honest as I think they are priced right. Post to mainland uk only

Anyway blackfoot - £110 posted (I'll include a new esc non tamiya)

Tlt new in box - £145 posted

My mistake, I looked at price on Fusion as I always think they are one of the cheapest only to find modelsport cheapest for once....don't get it!

Ok so blackfoot £90 delivered then;-)

As for the tlt why is it a sellers market when I am buying and a buyers market when I am selling! They are rare as anything nib amd I paid well over £145 for it! Now I want to sell for effectively £135 + post and I can't shift it.

I think it might have to do with the fact that most people don't want a TLT, they want the axles, and they can get those without buying the truck.

You hit the nail on the head there Bud ,

Yes i know the axles are desirable as the tlt axle is pretty much the basis for most crawler type vehicles. I just thought some tamiya collectors would want it for their collection because its not made any more, I mean there must be other tamiya models than are desirable as a runner but people want in their collection be it shelf queen or nib.

I have had a couple of tamiya models that are shockingly bad handling and can only assume are not that desirable but original o es go for good money

Isn't it nice when people take the time to torpedo your sales :( Come on guys, you could've PM'd him.

Hope you get some interest Shaggy39, the Blackfoot 3 is well worth that price!

Thanks Mr Crispy for the support, appreciate it. It does amaze me when people take time out to find fault in something that's for sale and seems to be a trait of forums in that people can't resist to share an opinion. I put a motorbike up for sale on a forum and I got loads of people making comments and picking apart the advert until I replied and said unless your a potential buyer go away. It worked!

I appreciate the heads up about price but as you say mr crispy it should have been a pm.

I think to blackfoot is a great price too and was even ok at £110 cos its new! It amazes me how people think that because a new kit has sat untouched on a shelf it's worth about half new value (or at least that's the kind of offers I have had via eBay!)

Saggy I apologise . In no way did I aim to ruin your sale . All I was pointing out was that , IMO the items where slightly over priced . Being honest would you yourself buy via ebay from a private seller when you can pay a almost identical price from a well known online retailer ? Many would opt for the latter thinking they have some back up if there are any problems with the transaction . Its just Human nature and unfair as many private sellers are great but worth thinking about when you have a target price in mind .

I saw it more as a word of advice rather than a torpedo (they could have left the OP to waste his time, instead) but I guess if you post a "for sale" in a forum you should be prepared for people to comment.

He came , he saw , he posted , we commented . Simple as that .

TLT-1's are blooming awesome, especially if you grab the CF chassis plates too. Can't recommend them enough. Somebody buy this before I stupidly buy a second.
