New GMade Scaler - Project Sawback

Recommended Posts

That's what I was thinking when I mentioned the HM Armed Forces figures . Because they have actual uniforms you can cut them about quite a lot and all the surgery is easily hidden . Looks like a winner at that price :D

I'am chucking idea's about in my head for this years builds . So far its a toss up between a On Road Lunchbox , Hybrid Scorcher or a Armed Forces Jackal on a CC-01 chassis . This has only complicated the choice as the figures look so good :( OH and there's the small problem of still having the Tonka Winnebago to finish lol

For those that don't yet know, CML are the UK distributor for GMade now - not sure how long it'll take for kit to become available, but GMade should be in UK stores soon B)

He will - I cut around 10mm from his torso and that's left him the right height

I then either have to de-butt him or scratchbuild seats as per the asiatees build, which seems like a beter option - with the seats out the driver's a pretty good fit - I'll get some pics tonight

Trouble is, it's so cold in my garage at the mo, I'm kinda avoiding the place

I hear you on that one . My workshop is F F FER freezing . Not ideal when you have styrene work to do . Glad the figure can be made to fit as I thought they might work well . Once he's glued back together and the uniform is back on him no one will even know he's being under the knife

Started surgery on the HMAF Skier

Not sure whether to take a load off his butt and thighs or change/make the seats

Around 8-10mm off his torso below the ribs and a couple of mm off his neck

And a bit off his lunchbox so his knees come up higher when seated

Colour options!

Red or Black chassis, red diff covers.

Chassis includes adjustable body posts, which look similar to system used on Dragoon/Spider chassis
