Blackfoot restoration with aluminum hop ups etc...

Recommended Posts

Since i love the blackfoots and having a few of them around. I decided to make one a little different to the ones i already have..

Clean up time first.. scrub scrub scrub... :)

Painted it a different color since all the other ones are all red. A little color to make it pop up a bit.

Looks great so far. I like those front aluminum C hubs.

With all that aluminum, a cool color for the chassis would have been Tamiya's brushed aluminum silver paint

They are pretty well built.. I was deciding on polishing it or not. It might stay like this for now..

love this build ! what paint you using for the plastic parts ??

Just regular spray can paint.. Enamel i'm guessing.

Yeah that will be an awesome color.. Might do that on the next project.. :)

Wow, that's pretty impressive. I didn't realize almost everything could be replaced with an aluminum part. :)
