The only way I can is that my wife is an artist and paints all my shells. I also have taught her and the boys how to race, so she puts up with it because it can be a "family event". While not her favorite, she partakes.

Yep married with 2 kids, my son used to like the hobby now grown up and spending money on his VW Polo, Daughter loves the RC but she's only little so currently has a remote control Wallace and Gromit van - but she has her eyes on my Tamtech Frog (probably because it's pink). Wife used to give my hassle, now she leaves me be and understands when I go in the loft to work on my cars that i'm out of her way.. :-)
