What's the ($3.25) difference between

ITEM# 54496 RC WR02 Driver Figure - Full Body @ $7.75

and

ITEM# 0115256 RC L Parts: 58242 - Order 54496 @ $11.00

Several online stores list them both, RCMart has one at $3.90 and the other at $6.00

Same for Blitzer Beetle decal sheet. The original 14 Euro, the re release 16 Euro, in the same shop.

Checked the two sheets. No difference. I bought the originals and saved two Euro.

I had the same with a Poly body, I bought one from a RC shop at £35 and got the same model body from ebay for £9.99

I could not tell the difference when they both arrived.

It's not price variances from different sellers I'm looking at, that's down to overheads, costs etc., it's Tamiya selling what appears to be the same frame under two different part numbers at different prices and retailers who stock both and doing the same
If you click the links above each pic, you'll see Tamiya's list price for each frame is different
