This tank was built a few years ago, but after seeing Bermans build, I realized I never posted it. I was able to find some pics from my build and I decided to load them. Hope you like.

Thanks for sharing, great video, that tank really scoots along !

Thanks! I'd forgoten how much I enjoyed running it. It does move at a decent clip at full throttle. Berman got me all excited about armor again lol.

That's a great looking tank. I like the metal chassis and the paintwork.

Thank you! I think every Tamiya fanatic should have at least 1 tank from them. They are amazing RC vehicles.

Very nice! Quite like the Soviet tanks :) I see theres a bit more room in the hull of the KV-1 than the turret of the 2a6 lol. I like the video :-) Now dont start making me want another tank, will you?

You started this! I'm the one who wants another tank now. The Leo has been in my wish list forever. Maybe next year.

of all of tamiya's tanks, what made you picked this model? i am not too familar with soviet tanks of wwii other than the t34 and joesph stalin, was it the real work horse for the soviet? The suttle rust work is a nice touch.

I chose the KV-1 for two reasons. First, I love the look of it. Second, it had the newest Tamiya sound unit and a working front and brake light. It all works great with my Spektrum DX6i after a little fine tuning with the mixes.
