Finally received an Avante 2001 body set from rcjaz.com. Took 1 month to get to me, but it wasn't damaged in any way even though the box looked a little crushed on one side.

Does anyone know if the Avante 2001 body can be made to fit the Avante 2011 chassis? I'll be picking up an Avante 2011 from the LHS this week and the same shop also has the 2001 body parts set in stock. The Avante 2011 will be a runner so I'd like to get a spare body for it.

No, the Avante 2001 body is made for the longer chassis of Vanquish, Avante 2001 and Egress.

You can obviously mount the Avante 2001 body onto the normal Avante chassis with shorter wheelbase but you need to trim it and cut it badly at the rear end of the body and this is a nonsense.

I'll write you in PM for a better solution.
